SIATech South Bay Independent Study High School (SBIS), located in Chula Vista, has been proactive in making connections with various local theaters such as The Old Globe, Cygnet Theatre, Diversionary Theatre, San Diego Latino Film Festival, and the San Diego Opera House. On Thursday April 25th, SIATech North County (NCIS) in Oceanside welcomed guest speaker Chef Oscar from the California Culinary Arts Institute (CCAI) which is located in San Diego. SIATech welcomes Dr. Delia Castillo as its new Assistant Superintendent Administrative Services. In this role Dr. Castillo will provide administrative oversight to our school sites, and supervise the communications and data services teams, among other responsibilities. On Tuesday March 26, 2024, a total of 65 SIATech students were hosted by Mt. San Jacinto College for a day of empowerment and career exploration. On Tuesday, February 15 MiraCosta College (MCC) student ambassadors visited SIATech NCIS. The MCC team gave an informational presentation to NCIS students about their campus life. SIATech Perris held an exceptional first Open House for the 2023-2024 School Year. The goal of the night was to increase parent involvement at their site.
