On Tuesday March 26, 2024, a total of 65 SIATech students were hosted by Mt. San Jacinto College for a day of empowerment and career exploration. SIATech has several new site employees who have come on board to help better serve students and the organization. Approximately 15 various site-based positions have been created for 2019-2020 to support all students as well as the additional activities funded by CTE / career pathways / Strong Workforce grants. Student Voting Matters! Are you registered to vote? Many students are new to voting and aren’t aware of the process. In 2008, 21% of young people ages 18-29 said they weren’t registered to vote because they missed the registration deadline. 6% said they didn’t know where or how to register. SIATech charter school teachers collaborate to sharpen their teaching methods. SIATech offers an Induction program for teachers who need to clear their credential. SIATech’s LCAP provides actions and metrics around three of the school’s primary goals. It is a living document that is in a process of continuous improvement. SIATech received the final presentation by the AdvancED Review Team today. The organization was commended for meeting the rigorous requirements of this prestigious full-accreditation recognition and will recommended for accreditation to the AdvancEd Accreditation Commission.
