SIATech Perris held an exceptional first Open House for the 2023-2024 School Year. The goal of the night was to increase parent involvement at their site. Over 70 people attended the event, including: the students' families and friends, SBIS partners, as well as other members of the community.
This gave SIATech Perris staff the opportunity to showcase several programs they offer to students including career exploration, parent career day, and our "YouHour" club activities.
The SIATech Perris student council played a key role in creating an engaging event. Attendees were able to participate in a fun-filled evening which included various activities such as: arts and crafts, a photo booth, Pax and Patterson demonstrations and a video game truck. In addition, they held a canned food drive and will be donating items to their local Salvation Army for the holidays.
SIATech Perris would like to thank all of the families who were able to attend, the community, and their EQUUS Partners who hosted a booth as well. The support from all of the SIATech Perris staff made this a successful and engaging event for all who attended.
