On Tuesday March 26, 2024, a total of 65 SIATech students were hosted by Mt. San Jacinto College for a day of empowerment and career exploration. After graduating from the Chula Vista campus SIATech South Bay High School in 2022-2023, SIATech Alumnus Grant Goodale enlisted in the US Space Force and he recently finished basic training. On Tuesday, February 15 MiraCosta College (MCC) student ambassadors visited SIATech NCIS. The MCC team gave an informational presentation to NCIS students about their campus life. After the session, seven NCIS students were then selected to tour the MiraCosta campus. A week later, on Tuesday, February 22, NCIS Mentor Teacher Amanda Roletti joined the selected See The Story

Student Voting Matters! Are you registered to vote? Many students are new to voting and aren’t aware of the process. In 2008, 21% of young people ages 18-29 said they weren’t registered to vote because they missed the registration deadline. 6% said they didn’t know where or how to register. SIATech’s LCAP provides actions and metrics around three of the school’s primary goals. It is a living document that is in a process of continuous improvement. SIATech received the final presentation by the AdvancED Review Team today. The organization was commended for meeting the rigorous requirements of this prestigious full-accreditation recognition and will recommended for accreditation to the AdvancEd Accreditation Commission.
