After graduating from the Chula Vista campus SIATech South Bay High School in 2022-2023, SIATech Alumnus Grant Goodale enlisted in the US Space Force and he recently finished basic training.
In a testament to the strong teacher-student relationship that had been formed while he was at SIATech, Grant extended an invitation to SIATech South Bay Lead Teacher Ms. Sara Lewis to come to his graduation. Using her own time and resources, Sara made the journey to Texas for the occasion.
Grant experienced a significant transformation while at SIATech. According to Sara when asked about his situation at the time of enrollment, "You wouldn't even have recognized him from where he is today!"
Grant attributes his engagement and success at SIATech to the relevant courses, caring teachers, and leadership team participation while at SIATech South Bay.
