Nicole R. Taylor serves as the Interim Superintendent and CEO of SIATech Charter School District, bringing two decades of experience dedicated to advancing educational access and success for at-promise youth. She is deeply committed to closing the achievement gap by fostering learning environments grounded in positive relationships, equity, and high expectations for all students. Her leadership reflects a strong belief in the power of education to transform lives and communities.
Throughout her tenure at SIATech, Ms. Taylor has held multiple leadership roles, including Assistant Superintendent of Instruction and Student Support Services, Executive Director of Education Services, Director of Specialized Student Services, and High School Principal. She has led district-wide efforts in instructional improvement, student support services, and compliance, overseeing programs that serve diverse student populations, including students with disabilities, foster youth, students experiencing homelessness, and English learners. Her work emphasizes data-driven decision-making, cross-functional collaboration, and building staff capacity to ensure continuous improvement and strong student outcomes.
Ms. Taylor began her career as a Special Education teacher and leader, developing a strong foundation in instructional practice and student advocacy. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in Curriculum and Instruction and holds advanced degrees and multiple credentials in education and administration. A proud U.S. Navy veteran, she brings a disciplined, service-oriented approach to leadership and has received numerous recognition's for her contributions to education. She remains steadfast in her commitment to ensuring every student is supported, empowered, and prepared for success in school and beyond.
