Oceanside High School Students Learn Apple Swift

Oceanside High School Students Drone Project

On October 30th, SIATech Oceanside High School students learned to use Apple Swift. California college of SD (CCSD) came to the site and facilitated a drone workshop. Furthermore, students collaborated to write code using Apple Swift programming language for IPads. the technology allowed students to design flight patterns that then would be tested by flying Parrot Drones.

Swift is a powerful and intuitive programming language for macOS, iOS, watchOS and tvOS. Writing Swift code is interactive and fun, the syntax is concise yet expressive, and Swift includes modern features developers love. Swift code is safe by design, yet also produces software that runs lightning-fast.
