SIATech at San Diego Job Corps recently completed a new greenhouse. This is the latest installment to Science Teacher Howie Cohen's magnificent science laboratory and specifically adds another dimension to the school's farming curriculum featuring hydroponics, aquaponics, mushroom production, and a weather station. This greenhouse was constructed in coordination with the students in the Job Corps Cement trade, and is interdisciplinary education at its finest. We look forward to monitoring, and eating, the results of this project.
