SIATech Perris Independent Study Charter High School is pleased to announce that Ivett Librado will have earned all the credits needed to graduate from high school as the part of the Class of 2019!
Ivett is a young working parent who needed to take some time away from her traditional high school to welcome her daughter to her family. In order to support her new family, Ivett got a job and was unsure if she would be able to finish high school while both parenting and working. Fortunately, she found out about SIATech and its independent study high school program and decided to give it a try. Ivett enrolled at SIATech Perris in August 2018.
Ivett appreciated SIATech’s caring and supportive teachers who gave her the one-on-one attention and help that she needed. SIATech’s flexibility with her work schedule and the ability to access the curriculum 24/7 meant that she could do her classwork when she found breaks in her other obligations. Ivett also liked the ability to work with an online instructor on days when she was not on site in the SIATech Perris classrooms. One of Ivett’s favorite memories of SIATech is building friendships with her classmates by participating in small group projects like, “The Book Club.”
Ivett has worked hard to complete all her coursework and will graduate as part of the Class of 2019. She plans to attend community college in the fall with hopes of owning her own business and being an entrepreneur. Congratulations, Ivett, and best of luck in the future!
SIATech Perris Independent Study High School is part of a network of California charter high schools focused on helping 16-24 year old students get back in school and back on track to graduation.
