SIATech Academy South Students Visit Power 106 Radio Station

Students took an eye-opening trip to the Power 106 radio station in December 2015.  Power 106 welcomed both SIATech Boyle Heights and Pico-Union high school students to provide a behind-the-scenes tour of what happens in radio. Radio personnel discussed the opportunities available for students in radio through an ICT/Digital Media career focus. Students received the See The Story

by Ernie Silva The School for Integrated Academics and Technologies (SIATech) is California’s first dropout recovery school to adopt UC approved a-g courses available to all students.  UC utilizes “a-g” subject requirements to ensure that students have attained a body of general knowledge that will provide breadth and perspective to new, more advanced study.
