Career Pathways in STEM The MAPin Design Thinking and STEM Bootcamp was held on June 10th – 14th. Several SIATech San Jose High School students were happy to attend and learn more about careers in STEM, Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. SIATech Hydroponics Project SIATech North County’s indoor garden is a beautiful corner of greenery that makes the classroom feel bright, clean, and alive. SIATech San Jose Digital Arts Course SIATech San Jose high school students visited Apple Park Visitor Center in Cupertino, CA. Students got the chance to use the interactive display of Apple Park by using iPads that shows what the building looks like inside. Code For Hood Today, SIATech South Sacramento High School hosted Alona Jennings from Code For Hood during our Brown Bag Lunch series. Alona gave an engaging presentation about Living Wage jobs in Graphic Design and Cyber Security and to talk about the ways Code For Hood connects youth to free programs in these fields. SIATech Oceanside High School Featured on NBC News San Diego! SIATech Oceanside High School’s new virtual reality training was featured on NBC San Diego News. Most importantly, students learned a valuable lesson about sex trafficking prevention through virtual reality.
