SIATech Indio Charter School student, Johnny Isham, earns his High School Diploma and is one step closer to accomplishing his dream of joining the United States Army.
Johnny Isham is a graduating senior of 2016 and is 26 years old. He will be our student speaker at our Moreno Valley graduation talking about his path and what led him ultimately to graduate. He is from the @LIKE program and enrolled with us in our first school year of 2013. It has been a long road facing many challenges outside of school with not having a stable home. Even through the hardest challenges, he would report to school and work hard to get through his assignments.
His motivation is to enroll into the Army infantry after graduating from high school. He realized he needed to get his high school diploma so that he can enroll into the military. He had some challenges along the way and we did not see him for a period of time however, he realized that the only way to succeed in life was to achieve and get his diploma.
Johnny has worked hard and is a leader among his peers and has become the mere example for students here at the Indio Win center that you can achieve your goals no matter at what age as long as you put your best efforts. He is proud that he is graduating and is a role model for our future graduates.
