On Tuesday March 26, 2024, a total of 65 SIATech students were hosted by Mt. San Jacinto College for a day of empowerment and career exploration. Students from SIATech South Bay High School in Chula Vista were able to take an excursion to the Center for Employment Training (CET). There they received information and training sessions on various types of career choices. According to CET’s website they are dedicated “to help those who want a better life get the skills needed for meaningful work.”

Career Pathways in STEM The MAPin Design Thinking and STEM Bootcamp was held on June 10th – 14th. Several SIATech San Jose High School students were happy to attend and learn more about careers in STEM, Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. SIATech San Jose Digital Arts Course SIATech San Jose high school students visited Apple Park Visitor Center in Cupertino, CA. Students got the chance to use the interactive display of Apple Park by using iPads that shows what the building looks like inside. Career Pathways Coding Course! Oceanside High School student, Caiden, had a great opportunity learning programming in school today. In addition to the many courses available, SIATech offers a unique coding course for students that are interested in IT careers.
